Love to be in Alice's shoes...

Alice from 'Alice the Wonderland' that is. That was one of my favorite childhood stories. And I absolutely love make-believe worlds, though aliens' & humanized robots' worlds are my cup of tea. But then there's a few fantasy movies that I like.

Apart from the Lord of Rings trilogy, Mirrormask, Pan's Labyrinth & Sky Captain and the Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow, the next hot movie of that sort of category IMO is The Golden Compass. Had read 'His Dark Materials' Omnibus and love it. And the movie stars Nicole Kidman & Christopher Lee. ;-)

Do clicky here. My Daemon is Pelagia BTW. (If you know WHAT animal is that..LOL)

PS. I know that I should had mentioned Alice from Resident Evil, but I'm not much of a fan of zombies and end-of-the-world stuff. But I like that freaky hologram girl & her freekin' lasers! LOL

SIA's new Airbus 380 Cabins

A quick post here. Just saw this clip about Singapore Airlines' newest plane; A380. If it's not superb, I don't know what to called it. The Suite Class reminds me of a crossover between a cruise ship's and a trains' cabin. You can visit their site by clicky here.

Cars, online golf and Judas

It's been a long time since my last post. I need to keep a goal of posting it at least weekly...but I keep wondering what stuff to post about. Oh well.

Yesterday, I spotted this super-cool car while doing some mindless window-shopping in a foreigners/expats' shopping haven called Holland Village. Does anyone recognize the model? Sorry not much of a car geek.

Another thing I want to talk about is a cool online golfing game called Pangya. (Albatross18 for American Server) It has uber-cute characters, outrageous outfits for them to wear, and of course the intense competition on getting the top ranks in tournaments. The courses are way more interesting than real-life ones. LOL

If you're from South-east Asia, clicky here. If you're from Korea, (doubt I have Korean guests watching my blog! LOL) clicky here. If you're a Yankee or Canadian, clicky here.

Last but not least, I want to blog about the infamous betrayer in Christian History; Judas Iscariot. I just borrowed a book titled Gospel of Judas recently. Out of interest on this man's Point Of View that the other Disciples hate. It makes you wonder the authenticity and it's incredible journey across modern times. (It was stolen and sold in black market once before)

Do you think this extremely old Gospel is really Judas' account? Or was it an old fake? Clicky here if you're interested to get a copy. ;-)

P.S, National Geographic has a webpage on it too. You can also clicky here to see this rare document.

Settling down and making plans

As almost a month past since I became a junior technician, I had made some rough plans on what I will do in next few years. Home is kinda dull since most of my family are at overseas, touring South Korea. (boo-hoo for me?)

For me, I had decided to visit Key West and had a traditional, old-fashioned American road trip from Long Island to the sunny Keys. This was inspired by one of my favorite books, Callahan's Key, where 23 bus loads of barflies and weirdoes made a great move to there. As usual, this wonderful book was written by Spider Robinson, one of my favorite authors. Do clicky here if you don't know his website.

P.S, he has a regular podcast until November on his website, where you get an audio sample of his incredible story, Variable Star. (Can't believe I can't get it in Borders. Gonna push strings for it!)
